Gina Recine grew up in the Bronx, New York and holds a degree in English and American Literature from New York University. During her studies, she fielded frequent Facebook messages from eager film students (wrongly) convinced she was related to Quentin Tarantino, with whom she once shared a last name.
She now lives in Long Island City, Queens with her husband and is working on her debut novel.
